I've been feeding the brunt of my madness with a heaping selection of Toho and American monster films from the fifties till now. Rodan is an earlier Toho dish that satisfies on many levels. The first insallment of Rodan involves the creation of a mutated Pteranodon. Well, two actually. This movie takes itself very seriously and uses science as the basis for the birth of the deadly creatures. My only complaints is there were one too many uses of limited stock footage and the DVD was dubbed. I hate that.
