What can I say that already hasn't been said? Well, believe it or not this is the first time I've ever seen it. I was always creeped out by the description about violent criminals robbing and raping at a whim but I decided to put away my squeamishness and give it a go...I'm glad I did! Apparantly this follows the book extremely closely with very little deviation. Oh, and I went on Wikki for some fun facts. Malcolm McDowell got bruised, broken ribs, nearly drowned and a scratched cornea from making this film. The actors sacrifice for greatness, eh?
